A Plant called Poetree

“Better late than never!” as the saying goes. I completed two anthologies of verse, and self-published the first at an immense cost to my life savings.

I felt that these poems are both poems and songs. I have yet to set them to music. They are songs of growth, explaining my growth through hard times and the bad. Lo, and behold, I went through them, and could still sing about it, albeit in my poems. If you are going through things that are hard, there is hope. Pick up your pen. Write it out and see it pass. Putting a label on some difficult issues may not solve the problems, but it can go a long way in getting the poison out of your system and assist you in growing past what happened in the first place.
